Hanh Nguyen

Senior Consultant

I am a research and evaluation specialist with seven years of experience in mixed migration issues. My key areas of expertise include forced displacement, labour migration and human trafficking, together with other cross-cutting themes of gender and social inclusion. I have a strong track record of designing impactful projects and delivering high-quality research. While Asia and the Pacific have been central to my professional interest and practices, I am also experienced working in Europe, Canada and North Africa.

My strength lies in community-based and participatory research, using the voice of affected populations to give insights into systematic issues and inform policy and programmes. Additionally, I am proficient in quantitative research methodologies and tools.

Before joining IOD PARC, I was a researcher at the Mixed Migration Centre, part of the Danish Refugee Council Regional Office in Asia and the Pacific where I designed, implemented, and evaluated multi-year projects focusing on Rohingya refugees, Bangladeshi migrants and Afghan people on the move.
