I am a Principal Consultant and Director at IOD PARC with over 15 years’ experience in designing, supporting and evaluating how organisations engage with information for effective decision making, learning and to improve organisational performance. My focus is on how social science, organisational behaviours and technologies intersect, specialising in helping organisations to build effective learning approaches supported by consultation and engagement. I have worked as a team leader on projects for a range of multilateral organisations, government agencies and international NGOs including UNICEF, UNRWA, the British Council and WaterAid across Africa, the Americas, Asia, Europe and the Middle East.
As a social researcher, evaluator and organisational development specialist I am an experienced facilitator with considerable experience of designing large-scale, complex discussion and participatory events. My approach is rooted in establishing, strengthening and nurturing quality connections between people using effective communications practices and social technology. I am a mixed methods researcher, designing inquiries that blend participatory and qualitative methodologies with quantitative data analysis, engaging across multiple contexts and with diverse stakeholder groups. I am also a trained Action Learning facilitator and certified to administer the Myers Briggs Type Indicator personality instrument. My first intellectual love is Sociology, and I hold a BA (Hons) in Social and Political Studies from The University of Sheffield and an Ashridge Masters in Organisational Consulting. My professional experience includes multiple consulting firms as well as positions in marketing, PR, teaching and collaborative working.
