Senior Programme Officer

I joined IOD PARC in November 2019 as a Senior Program Officer for the Monitoring Evaluation and Learning (MEL) Unit, primarily responsible for monitoring, evaluation and learning of DFID’s Climate Smart Development and Strengthening Disaster Resilience in Nepal programme. I have more than 15 years’ experiences in natural resource management and livelihoods including 8 years experiences in climate change and resilience. Over the period, I have worked with the Government of Nepal, Multilateral and Bilateral organizations, INGOs, NGOs, and Civil Societies.
I provide support in the areas of Climate Smart Development and Strengthening Disaster Resilience Portfolio monitoring, evaluation and learning, data analysis and visualisation.

Before joining IOD PARC, I worked on various DFID funded projects and programmes including the Livelihoods and Forestry Programme, Nepal Climate Change Support programme and Building Resilience and Adaption to Climate Extremes and Disaster (BRACED) in Nepal. I hold a graduate degree in Science as well as Forestry and a master’s in Natural Resource Management from Nepal.
