Nur Abdelkhaliq Zamora

Nur is a Principal Consultant who established and led IOD PARC's Migration Workstream until 2025. She has extensive experience in migration and refugee issues globally, with specialisms in the Middle East and North Africa and Europe, having worked with clients including WFP, UNRWA, UNHCR, IOM, UNICEF, GIZ, ICAI and the European Commission.

Much of Nur's work focuses on the overlap between displacement, multi-sectoral programming, and transition from humanitarian response to longer-term solutions. She leads cross-regional and multi-country assignments at strategic, programme and project levels that integrate participatory methods and mainstream gender, disability, social inclusion and protection.

Nur is an accredited Chartered Management Consultant (MCMI ChMC) and holds a PhD in Politics and International Relations from the University of Edinburgh.
