Mark Keen

Mark is a highly experienced senior evaluation and change management professional. He has over 30 years of consultancy experience, facilitating large-scale change processes and leading complex evaluations and strategic reviews. He has worked in over 40 countries in a wide range of sectors and institutional contexts – notably in WASH and climate change.  His clients include multilateral agencies, trust funds, bilateral agencies, NGOs, foundations, and the private sector.

Mark's approach rests on a simple conviction: change happens most effectively when people share an understanding of the key issues and a common commitment to both the destination and the route to get there. As company lead on professional development – and an experienced coach and mentor for senior managers – Mark brings an academic grounding in business management, research methods, organisation development, and psychoanalytic approaches to evaluation and understanding change.

Mark is a Director of IOD PARC and was Managing Director from 2003-2019. He was Co-owner from 2006 to 2023. Mark is a Chartered Management Consultant and prior to joining IOD PARC, was a Principal Lecturer in Organisational Behaviour and Managing Change at Sheffield Business School,
