Joy McCarron
Senior Consultant
RemoteToulouse, France
Joy is an evaluation and monitoring professional whose interests centre on gender-transformative, feminist and intersectional evaluation approaches, gender equality and social inclusion – expertise built through direct work with survivors of gender-based violence and asylum seekers, and research and evaluation on gender-based violence and violence against women and girls.
Much of Joy's work sits at the intersection of principle and quality: bringing a feminist lens to evaluation while managing the quality assurance that keeps standards consistent and high. Across our thematic areas including Health, Climate, Migration and Gender, Joy supports evaluation teams throughout the project cycle – project management, data collection and analysis, reporting and quality assurance – for clients including UNICEF, UNHCR, the OECD, the IPCC, British Council and ICAI.
Joy holds an MA in International Development from the Institute of Political Sciences (Sciences Po) Toulouse.
