Joanne Roe

Joanne leads the operations of the Business Development team – planning, preparing and submitting proposals, managing responses to client requests, line-managing the team, and overseeing new business opportunities and the bidding process – and serves as IOD PARC's Company Secretary.

With long experience preparing proposals for projects of every scale in international development, Joanne sits at the point where winning work meets running it well, and has also project-managed assignments for government departments, bilateral and multilateral aid organisations, NGOs and UN agencies.

Before joining IOD PARC, Joanne had a long career in insurance as Regional Claims Manager for a leading global insurance brokerage, heading a desk-based claims service for three commercial claims offices.
