Profile

Jenny is a management, monitoring, evaluation and learning (MEL), and social impact professional with more than twenty years of sustainable development experience, working with development agencies, governments, and private sector companies to assess performance and facilitate change. An experienced team leader, facility director and contractor representative, Jenny works consultatively and adaptively to create quality deliverables.

Jenny's MEL work sits where evidence and performance assessment meets decision-making – user-friendly monitoring and evaluation designed for confident management, learning, and communication. Working at the corporate, country, and branch-level, assignments have ranged from directing a multi-phase quality investment support facility for DFAT's Indonesia country program, to leading portfolio MEL guidance and thematic synthesis reviews for the FCDO, validation of overall annual investment performance reporting for MFAT and DFAT for public reporting and to inform corporate approaches to quality and management, performance framework development and monitoring for strategic partnership agreements between DFAT and humanitarian multilaterals, and evaluation quality assurance for UNICEF and UNHCR. Alongside global-level organisation development work including multilateral performance assessment for the OECD MOPAN secretariat and evaluation of the UNDSS operations, she has a geographic focus on Southeast Asia and the Pacific, and interest in non-ODA delivery and the environment.

Jenny's academic background includes a Masters in Applied Anthropology and Participatory Development from the Australian National University (ANU) and bachelor degrees in Arts (French and Spanish) and Commerce (ANU), with certifications spanning project management, public policy analysis (London School of Economics), public participation (IAP2) and social impact assessment.
