Hanh Nguyen

Hanh is a research and evaluation specialist in mixed migration – forced displacement, labour migration and human trafficking – with cross-cutting attention to gender and social inclusion. Asia and the Pacific are the centre of gravity of Hanh's practice, with experience extending to Europe, Canada and North Africa.

Hanh's strength lies at the meeting point of community voice and systemic insight: community-based, participatory research that uses the perspectives of affected populations to illuminate structural issues and inform policy and programmes, complemented by strong quantitative skills.

Before joining IOD PARC, Hanh was a researcher at the Mixed Migration Centre, part of the Danish Refugee Council Regional Office in Asia and the Pacific, designing, implementing and evaluating multi-year projects on Rohingya refugees, Bangladeshi migrants and Afghan people on the move.
