Gabi Volak

Gabi is a consultant in IOD PARC's migration workstream, conducting contextual research and data analysis grounded in qualitative methods and supporting evaluations within the Supporting Points of Change in the Aid System team.

Gabi's interests sit where human rights principles meet operational reality – refugee inclusion, forced migration, and the tensions that arise when rights claims collide, the subject of an MA in Human Rights at UCL examining conservation parks and local communities in Kenya.

Before joining IOD PARC, Gabi worked with NGOs including Freedom from Torture and MSF, and with an Afghan association in logistics, administration and youth work – building a practical understanding of how organisations large and small actually operate.
