I have an academic and professional background in climate change and sustainable energy, combining my MSc in Carbon Management with practical experience conducting field research on rural electrification in Ghana and working in energy efficiency in the UK. I have an in-depth understanding of the issues surrounding climate change, including impacts, adaptation and mitigation. I have a particular focus on building capability for low-carbon socio-economic growth in the developing world.
I have comprehensive experience in managing qualitative and quantitative research projects, including through my prior role as Research Team Manager for a leading procurement specialist. As such I have a proven ability to deliver projects at pace from initial planning through to delivery.
I’m a skilled writer, experienced in presenting climate change related information in a way that makes it accessible and relevant for a variety of intended audiences. I have practical experience of working in the developing world, having managed projects based in both Tanzania and Ghana.
