Fabiola Padilla Diaz

Project Assistant

I originally joined IOD PARC as an intern in 2021 and since I became a project assistant within the Supporting Points of Change in the Aid System portfolio team. My recently completed MSc in Economics has provided me of analytical tools to conduct research using analytical and quantitative techniques. Under my current role I perform activities to support various evaluation projects, mainly assisting with document review, data extraction, qualitative and quantitative data analysis, and analytical writing. Recently I have engaged in work with WFP, UNHCR, DanChurchAid, the Academy for Impact Through Music and Qatar Fund.

My thematic areas of interest include the link between migration and development, with particular attention on migrant/human rights, gender, and children.

Prior to IOD PARC I held several roles within two Mexican Government diplomatic missions in the United States in topics that range from political, migration, humanitarian response, and economic affairs. I have a strong understanding of the functioning of multilateral organizations and several international non-governmental organizations.
