As a Change Management and Evaluation specialist for over 25 years, I have worked as a consultant, academic and senior manager/director. My recent focus with IOD PARC has been on leading assignments which look to assess and support system wide change in the WASH and Climate Change areas. My experience spans over 40 countries in a range of sectors and institutional contexts. I have worked with a broad wide range of clients including multilateral agencies, multi-donor trust funds, bilateral government agencies, NGOs, networks, foundations and private sector organisations.

I am a Principal Consultant and the company lead on professional development. My work includes facilitating and supporting large-scale change processes, undertaking complex evaluations and strategy review and development. My approach is based on a belief that change happens most effectively when there is a shared understanding of key issues and a common commitment and buy-in to both the projected outcomes and the processes required to get there. As well as over 20 years’ experience in the development sector I bring an academic background in research methods, organisation development and psychoanalytic approaches to understanding change. I am also an experienced coach and mentor for senior managers. Prior to IOD PARC, I was Principle Lecturer in Organisational Behaviour and Human Resource Management at Sheffield Business School before becoming Product Leader of Change and Organisational Learning and an independent consultant for a range of public and private sector clients.
