I am an experienced monitoring and evaluation consultant with a specific focus on social development processes and methods.   I have worked at field and policy level, using monitoring and evaluation tools to contribute to organisational learning and improving development practice.  Working with a range of organisations including government aid agencies, UN agencies and NGOs in different sectoral areas has given me a broad spectrum of experience, and a solid grounding in different approaches to international development.  

I have excellent communication, research, analytical, training and facilitation skills.  Recent consultancy work has focused on reviewing the implementation of policy processes, assessing methods to monitor and evaluate policy dialogue and advocacy, and providing specific technical support for ensuring gender and social exclusion are integrated in evaluations and evaluation frameworks.  This is supported by ongoing capacity support and training in gender and monitoring and evaluation methods. I have also recently developed systems for monitoring and managing projects, reviewed evaluation frameworks and carried out strategic reviews.
