Staff Profile

Mark Keen //
Director

As an Organisation Development and Change Management specialist for over 18 years, I have worked as a consultant, academic and senior manager.  I have facilitated and managed large scale change processes and evaluations in a wide range of sectors and institutional contexts.

Recent assignments have focused on understanding and enhancing the capability of different organisational forms to provide results within unpredictable environments.  Clients include: bilateral aid agencies, such as the UK Government’s Department for International Development (DFID) and AusAid; Non-Governmental Organisations such as the Trade Union Congress, SCIAF, CIVICUS, Government departments such as the UK Department for Energy and Climate Change; and multilateral bodies including various UN funds and Agencies.

My consultancy work is varied and includes senior management coaching and mentoring, team development and strategy formulation, organisational assessments and transition management, and the evaluation of multi-stakeholder institutional partnerships and co-ordination.  My approach is based on a belief that change happens most effectively when there is a shared understanding of central issues and a common commitment and buy-in to both the projected outcomes to be achieved and the processes required to get there.
